 Education and Job Training Task Force

Goal / Description:

Making our schools safer and more successful is a top priority for House Democrats and well as insuring that Americans are well prepared for the ever evolving workforce. The Education and Job Training Task Force works to:

• Secure funding for effective and much needed job training
• Ensure children can learn in a safe environment - protected from the threat of drugs and violence
• Reduce class sizes by helping local communities hire 100,000 qualified new teachers
• Help local schools repair crumbling classrooms
• Support Head Start and other important early childhood development initiatives
